Since 2008, SweetArt has been a beloved plant-based gem in the Shaw neighborhood—where Chef Reine Keis served up love and magic by the forkful. While we said goodbye to our Shaw home in April 2025, we’re not going far. Catch us soon at our new space inside the historic Coronado on Lindell—same soul, new home.

Chef Reine Keis launched SweetArt Bakeshop & Café in search of delicious and scrumptious 100% plant-based savory eats and sweet treats. Nestled in the Shaw community, SweetArt has been a beloved staple in Saint Louis since 2008. While we closed our Shaw location this Sunday, we’re thrilled to begin our next chapter at the historic Coronado on Lindell—same heart, new home.

Non-vegan here that loved everything I had. Great breading on the crispy fried cauliflower and chkn. Hard to tell it wasn’t real chicken. Dessert bar not pictured since I ate it too quickly. Highly recommended at least grabbing some baked goods.

Y’all! Yall! SweetArt is a weekly treat for me. I always forget to take pictures but everything I’ve had on the menu does NOT disappoint. Today, I tried the Maya Angelou with chik’n strips, chickpea curry, kale salad, and their sweet and moist cornbread. For added measure, the raspberry crumble for dessert. Melts in your mouth deliciousness!

Absolutely amazing food, great service, and beautiful decor. The chickn sandwich, sweet burger, and cauliflower nuggets were so tasty! But the kale salad might have been my favorite part of our meals. And to top it off, the sweet baked goods are light, fluffy, and decadent. This is a St. Louis must.
